Big Town was opened in 1959. My parents took me there as a child and everyone was in awe of all the stores that you could get to from an air-conditioned corridor. In the 60's saw a lot of movies at the Big Town Cinema. Bowled at the Big Town lanes quite often.
Northpark did not open until 1965 or so. It is still the classiest mall in the Metroplex, even though the traffic and parking are a nightmare.
