The Skillern's I was most familiar with was the one on the corner of Clarendon and Hampton in Oak Cliff, it has been Midway Auto Supply for well over 50 years now.......was more or less across the street from the old Sunset Theatre...........There was a Grocery store a few door down from it and also a Tavern....think it was called the Hangman's Club, a pretty tough place when Oak Cliff was wet......Bill Strouse
