From the areal referenced above (Bing), and from my memory of the location, this large drain enters a culvert that carries the creek under the streets immediately downstream from it (Wycliff-Fitshugh, and St Johns Drive). Isn't this part of Turtle Creek called Exall Lake? The reservoir dam is topped by Wycliff-Fitshugh I believe, and the drain would have been the relief for the dam to carry water downstream. Or is Exall Lake further north? Memories ......... .
