However, l based my assumption on the grand opening announcement ad that appeared in the June 26, 1940 DMN that says "Nationally Famous For Food and Life...Sivils Comes To Dallas!" - apparently, then, at least part of the family did come to town.
Would Sivils, then, be one of the earliest national restaurant chains?
