According to the link above ( [thetexastheatre.com] ) much of the renovation/restoration was done after that, during 2001-2003. In order to get National Register of Historical Places designation, did the building have to meet criteria including being original or restored to original? The facade in 2008 according to the photo on Wikipedia was not original at that time, though it was closer than I remember from the 1990s.
