That is probably correct. You may have, indeed, seen it in the AA terminal, after Braniff went away. As a kid, I got the chance to fly to Hawaii on Braniff and, because we had all read about the fossil, made a point of going to see it. I was just thinking about the plesiosaur last week, and wondering what had become of it. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be on public display.
