Matilda was/is one block east of Greenville and ran parallel to it from about Prospect past Mockingbird, correct? It was the location of the street car tracks and was not paved (for the most part) until the 60s or later, I think. Several family members lived on Belmont in the first block east of Matilda in the 40s and 50s. I do not remember anything that looked like a creek bed, but I do seem to recall that the street sloped from north to south--maybe.
