The creek is still there, but most of it is buried as a storm drain. Flooding around Baylor Hospital does occur, but the creek is subsurface except for those times when the below street conduit is too small to contain the runoff. There have been earlier threads concerning this.
{added: I searched the archives and did not find the threads I mentioned. I don't think I imagined their existence, but they may have been lost in a long ago transfer.}
