Ben My memory from the early forties before the toll road when there was a rail road track there and the land to the west was owned by T.L. Bradford was that the water came from the storm sewer that went into Highland Park. Old maps show the creek beginning in Highland Park up by where Loma Alto St is today. I am assuming that Highland Park like Dallas covered up the creek with a storm pipe.
