The Meisterhans Beer Garden worked its way back into my mind recently and, doing a bit of googling, I found that Marilyn Kosanke and Larry Chenault have placed some very useful information on the web re Charles Meisterhans and his wife Franciska, along with her children by her first husband and by Mr. Meisterhans. This will prove of much interest to those of us who don't have quite enough early Dallas and Texas lore filed away in one way or another. My thanks to them both.
